Why EasySalah

Private, local, and calm by design—aligned with how the app actually works.

Accurate & configurable

Prayer times from established calculation methods (auto, regional presets, madhhab where relevant). Optional per-prayer minute offsets to match your masjid with Pro Tools.

Private by design

No login, no ads, and no analytics server in the app architecture—preferences and schedules live locally, with standard OS backup if you enable it.

Calm daily rhythm

Next-prayer countdown on Home, optional notifications with multiple sounds and quiet hours, and Hijri date with optional day offset.

Hijri & lunar today

Dhuʻl-Qiʻdah 16, 1447 AH

A small, calm detail that changes daily—based on the lunar cycle. Waning gibbous with about 97% illumination.

Light & sky (visual)

A feel-good touch that stays fully local: no location, no external APIs, no tracking. (These time chips are decorative in the website.)

Sunrise

Moonrise

Moonset

If you later want real sunrise/sunset/moonrise values, we can compute them fully on-device too—but this version keeps the site purely aesthetic.

Warm light, quiet moments—EasySalah is designed to feel calm in the middle of a busy day.

Core features

Home overview plus dedicated areas for prayers, Qibla, Zakat, and settings—free baseline with optional Pro Tools below.

Prayer times

Full daily schedule for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—plus auxiliary times where the calculation provides them (e.g. Sahr, sunrise, sunset, Iftar). Zawal awareness, method presets, madhhab for Asr, saved places, and travel mode.

Qibla

Compass-style Qibla with distance to the Kaaba, refined GPS vs saved-pin behavior, and true-north adjustment where applicable. Guidance when accuracy is low.

Hijri & Gregorian

Date cards on Home with a user-adjustable Hijri display offset so you can align with local moon-sighting preference.

Zakat calculator

Profiles for personal, family, and business; assets and liabilities with eligibility toggles; gold- or silver-based nisab; currency and locale formatting. Educational aid—consult qualified scholars for your situation.

Reminders

Per-prayer toggles, multiple Adhan and beep styles, custom sound on supported setups, volume presets, quiet hours, and a test reminder in Settings.

Widgets (Android)

EasySalah Next Prayer (small) and EasySalah Prayer Times (medium)—periodic refresh and updates when the app refreshes data. Requires a development or store build, not Expo Go.

Pro Tools

Supporter Unlock — one-time purchase. No ads, no account, no cloud tracking. Entitlement restores via the App Store or Google Play on a new device per platform rules.

How it works

Local computation end to end—no EasySalah login backend for prayer logic.

  1. Step 1

    Location on your device

Grant location when prompted so prayer times and Qibla use your position—or pin a saved place and use travel mode when you are away from home.

  2. Step 2

    Choose methods

Pick a calculation preset (including Auto), madhhab for Asr, and optional Hijri offset for display. Pro adds mosque minute offsets and JSON import.

  3. Step 3

    Rhythm you control

Enable reminders per prayer, pick sound profiles and quiet hours, and on Android add widgets so the next prayer stays visible at a glance.

Trust & privacy

Website summary—always match the live nutrition labels and jurisdiction-specific requirements you file.

  • No user accounts in the app.
  • No advertising SDKs described in the product.
  • No app-owned backend for prayer logic—times and Qibla are computed on-device from location and published methods.
  • Location supports when-in-use style functionality; align exact OS declarations with your store privacy labels.
  • Pro purchase is validated with Apple or Google only, per standard in-app purchase rules.

Prayer methods follow adhan-compatible presets exposed in the app. Qibla uses a great-circle initial bearing toward the Kaaba with compass and declination handling where relevant.

Accurate times and a steady rhythm—without accounts, ads, or noise in the background.

Does the app upload my location to your servers?

The app is built around local calculation; there is no EasySalah login backend in the open-source product description.

Metal objects, phone cases, and tilt affect magnetometers; the app guides you to hold the phone flat and may show accuracy hints.

What is Pro?

A one-time purchase unlocking themes, Ramadan reminders, mosque offsets, advanced Android widget customization, Qibla diagnostics, and local backup.

Can I move settings to a new phone?

Use Export / Import backup (Pro) and/or Restore purchases for the Pro entitlement, per store rules.
